also offers a super high quality Black bear hunt with hounds as well. These
hunts take place in
New Mexico running August 16th -31st and the from September 23rd to November 15th. These hunts are done with our same pack of
hounds that we raise and train for the Mountain Lion hunts as well. These
hunt are done with 4X4 pickups, Atv's, horses, mules, and on foot. For
management purposes we try to kill only Boars but with an occasional old
baron sow. We have yet to have taken what we would call a solid "black"
bear, meaning everything is color phase. Ranging from Chocolate, Cinnamon,
Blonde, and then blend of all three. We average a 6'+ bear on are hunts
consistently producing 100% success rates. Lodging, depending on where we
are hunting at the time are out of four star ranch houses to really nice
tent camps. These hunts take place on several hundred thousand acres of
private land as well as on some very good National Forest areas. Call for
