Whitetail Deer
|
|
When hunters think of
trophy whitetails the West isn't usually the location that comes to mind but
that is quickly changing as trophy h unters from across the country are
discovering the long kept secret that the river bottoms of the west have
held for many years... Big, Big Whitetails. The massive body size of these
bruisers often dwarfs the high scoring racks they carry. At Tri-State
it is 100% success or shot opportunity and we only allow three bucks to be
taken per year. Size average varies but it is not uncommon to average 160
SCI each year with several bucks being taken off of this Colorado ranch
making B&C standards even into the high 180's. This ranch takes in 90,000
acres with roughly thirty miles of river bottom providing excellent
whitetail habitat. |
